FCAMARA is seeking Business Change Management Specialists to partner with a mining client with an international presence that is expanding into the Brazilian market.
The Business Change Management Specialist is responsible for driving and managing the people side of change within our transition Program. This role ensures that changes to business processes, systems, and technologies are effectively implemented, adopted, and sustained by our stakeholders. The role focuses on minimizing resistance, maximizing employee engagement, and ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Proven Capabilities:
- Change Management Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy and plan for the Program.
- Identify change impacts and assess organizational readiness for change.
- Define success metrics and monitor progress to ensure change objectives are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Identify and analyze key stakeholders and their influence on the change initiative.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and project sponsors on change-related matters.
- Communication and Engagement:
- Develop and execute a communication plan to ensure timely and effective messaging to all impacted stakeholders.
- Create engaging content (e.g., presentations, newsletters, FAQs) to support change initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and feedback sessions to address concerns and gather input.
- Training and Development:
- Collaborate with training teams to design and deliver training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed for the change.
- Ensure training materials are tailored to the needs of different stakeholder groups.
- Change Impact and Readiness Assessment:
- Conduct change impact assessments to identify areas of resistance and potential risks.
- Develop mitigation plans to address resistance and ensure smooth adoption of changes.
- Change Adoption and Sustainability:
- Monitor and measure the adoption of changes and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide post-implementation support to ensure changes are embedded into the organization.
- Develop strategies to sustain change and prevent regression to old ways of working.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with project teams, business units, and HR to align change management activities with project timelines and deliverables.
- Lead and mentor change champions or change agents within the organization.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Percentage of stakeholders engaged and supportive of the change initiative.
- Adoption rates of new processes, systems, or technologies.
- Reduction in resistance to change.
- Timely delivery of change management deliverables (e.g., communication plans, training programs).
- Feedback from stakeholders on the effectiveness of change management activities.
Requisitos e qualificações
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Change Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter), and tools.
- Leadership and Influence: Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset to identify challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Project Management: Understanding of project management principles and how change management integrates with project delivery.
- Emotional Intelligence: High level of empathy and the ability to manage resistance and conflict effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG Change Management) is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leading successful change initiatives in complex environments.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent English.
Informações adicionais
Location:
Belo Horizonte / São Paulo. Note – Candidates residing outside Bello Horizonte must be prepared to work ~50% of their time in Bello Horizonte and Barro Alto as the needs of the Project requires. The remaining 50% of their time will be on a work from home basis. The Company will cover all costs associated with travel and living expenses to/from the candidate’s home location.
