Senior Backend Engineer

FCamara is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design and evolve scalable backend systems within a modern .NET ecosystem. You will lead the implementation of workflow-heavy backend services - covering onboarding, relationship management, orchestration, and integrations - within a microservices-based architecture, while helping drive engineering quality and architectural consistency across the team.
Responsabilidades e atribuições
- Design and implement scalable backend systems using C# and .NET
- Lead technical design for REST APIs and workflow-heavy services
- Drive clean architecture and maintainable backend design across distributed microservices
- Break down large workflows into reusable services and components
- Review code, mentor engineers, and improve engineering standards
- Ensure systems are resilient, transactional, and production-ready
- Work closely with product managers and frontend engineers on API and workflow design
Requisitos e qualificações
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong expertise in C# and .NET
- Experience designing production-grade REST APIs and backend workflows
- Strong understanding of clean architecture and separation of concerns
- Deep experience with Entity Framework, SQL, and relational databases
- Experience handling concurrency, idempotency, and transactional consistency
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and distributed microservices architectures
- Strong debugging, architecture, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
Nice to Have:
- Experience in banking, fintech, CRM, or customer onboarding platforms
- Experience with matching engines, orchestration workflows, or distributed systems
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
- Fluency in Portuguese
