The Candidate will join our client’s IT department as a Product Specialist Logistics Article.

 

▪ Act as a Business Consultant in the MDM area

▪ Act as an Owner and Guardian of the Template for a set of Scenarios, Processes, Functions or Technical Components in MDM

▪ Support the Tech Team Lead by taking ownership of integration topics and developing expertise in a specific area.

Responsabilidades e atribuições

Acting as a Product Specialist

• Consulting Expertise

• Provide consulting expertise in one or several core areas of MDM

• Recommend and implement best practice solutions by preserving as much SAP standard functionality as possible. Proposed solution should allow smooth execution of the process within the respective client´s business framework and generating as less support, 2nd and 3rd level as possible.

• Ensure data quality in the article master data

• Template Solution

• Design and Implementation of new template functionalities, improvement of existing functionalities. 

• Definition of test scripts and test conditions ​

• Completion of related documentation. ​

• Handover to support teams and communication to Wiki team (Knowledge Management) if applicable

• Global Rollout

• Support Global Rollout of Gemini by deploying existing Gemini functions and processes to our client’s entities. 

• Prepare, document and execute assessment workshops. Work out required change management processes 

• Identify gaps with template and propose solutions to cover business needs and as well needs to secure a global, consistent, performing template solution. 

• Prepare, complete and execute key user training documentation. Define and complete test scripts. 

• Assist business during cutover execution

• Assist business during the post go live period. Monitor live system during post go-live period.

• Support

• Address and solve incidents on the Gemini solution by identifying the underlying root cause

• Identify, address and solve design issues to improve the application stability and improve solution performance. ​

• Communicate and respect solution deadlines to business by using our client’s support infrastructure. 

• Run 3rd level support (take, manage and solve helpdesk calls)

• Comply with OSBF department internal change and environment management guidelines

 

Taking Ownership of Integration Topics

• Contributes to our client’s Template in his/her respective area by proposing and implementing solutions which satisfy business requirements, enforce the template approach, respect the software standard as much as possible, and maximize the stability of the future solution.

• Anticipate and ensure integration with other potentially impacted areas. 

 

 

Supports internal processes and methodology 

 

• Applies and promotes internal processes 

• Supports methodology and enforce reusability

Requisitos e qualificações

Preliminary training

University degree in Information technology or engineering or equivalent​

Areas of competencies

Proven experience in master data management in SAP​

Working knowledge of integration points ​

Analytical and problem-solving skills​

Good communication and presentation skills

 

Appreciated area of competency

Proven experience in managing teams (projects or within an IT organization)

 

Specific knowledge

Solid integration knowledge with R/3 / ECC modules

Credibility as a central contact for the business​

Solid knowledge of SAP Retail Article Master Data

 

Professional experience

A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in delivering SAP solutions with a minimum of 2 years of experience in area of material master data management​

Full SAP cycle implementations​

International experience

Mandatory Languages

English, French is a plus​

Communication skills, ability to challenge business departments​

Thinking in standardized, harmonized and user-friendly solutions​
